Apple with leaves

This was the first time trying Caran D'arches "Pablo" colored pencils and I really like them. I have only been using colored pencils for about 8 days but I am very impressed with the oil look that you can achieve with them.

My first colored pencil painting

Not the best photo it was taken with my iPad in bad light....BUT I am happy with it. My pencils came yesterday afternoon and this is my first colored pencil painting. I had lost my mojo with painting and took this class to inspire me....it has worked!!!! I was tempted to get out the paints...lol... but I hung in there. Of course now I am obsessed with pencils and paper...oh well such is the life of creativity. Thank you for the Colored Pencil Club and Marian Jackson MDA for the first lesson!!
