Christmas Cards? you betcha....finished!

I am in love with my Letterpress I ran the cards through 3 times without reinking the plates and I ended up liking the last one the best it is soooo soft. I added diamond stickles for ornaments and a little red heart created with 3 little drops of red fun!

Count Your Blessings:)

I used Jeni Bowlin Core' Dinations card stock for the background and spritzed it with 2 colors of distress ink, Spun Sugar and Broken China, that I pearlized with Perfect Pearls and the soft watercolor background that this gives! I cut the banner, flowers and the Count Your Blessings with my Cameo and then added stickles to a couple and freehanded some flourishes on others...the banner was strung together with 1/8" pink ribbon.

Day 8...sketch pens, partial cuts and VINYL!!

OK I know that everyone else mastered that crazy bar holder thingy with ease...NOT me! I could not move that baby for anything and after emailing SL support they suggested rubber gloves....IT WORKED I could finally  move that guide :) Earlier this week I cut my vinyl to fit the fun.

Today I used white chipboard for a base, layered a doily stamp with brown ink and then used Claudine Hellmuth's Studio matte medium to glue paper doilies on top....after that I gave everything a coat of the matte medium dried, spritzed with pearlized antique linen distress ink......and then dried everything again! Finally I cut the vinyl letters and heart out of black ...loved the whole process!!

The sketch card was fun and I had to add a little pearlized water with pink distress ink mixed in and a soft tinting with my and flat for mailing!

The butterfly partial cut out was explained so well and the simple act of releasing the compound path, SIMPLIFY, break and then delete the point had me accomplishing what I thought was impossible..yipee!!

Sadly, this is the last day...see everyone in the next class:)

Text text and more text

I had to do something with these die cuts....they are running around all over my!

I put some of them together and made a collage of my favorite quotes for my studio the creativity that my little Silhouette creates in me:)

Day 5..Jazzing up those die cuts!!!!

I used a clear Copic glitter pen to highlight some of the dies cuts and to others I added ribbons, button and whatever else I had  to dress these babies up!  I seriously could loose myself in die cuts and not make a dang thing with them :)

Day 4...Print and Cuts OMGoodness

Were they fun to put together or what! I have spent the last 3 days rummaging through my Digi stash to put together tags withmy favorite quotes and elements that I just brought into my Cameo and used trace to make print and cuts....this could be quite addictive :) Be prepared there are a lot of them!!

Day 3...vinyl LOVE

This was just the thing to dress up my Cameo!

Day 3 adding text to a cut file...OMGoodness!

I used a flourish cut file and combined it with my name in text, welded it and whoola....a personalized cut file...I love my Cameo!

Day 2_ Make the

Wow what a fun day at the online card classes...I used Jennifer McGuire's instructions for taking a house cut file and turing it into a card and coloring it with Copics! I repeated the process using a doily cut file taking it apart to make a frame and the card base. I used another  another rose cut file as a stencil and lightly colored it with my Copics using an airbrush. I cut the leaves so that they came over the frame and added a ribbon in the holes that I made in the cut file by removing some of the elements...who knew the things that you could do?

Day 1 Make the fun!

I imported a digi stamp into Silhouette and then did a trace and cut adding an offset to make it look like a huh! I colored it with my copics. I did a print and cut from a digi file for the Princess banner and and added a doily cut file and button and called it finished!

The frame was a free file in this class from Ali adorable...I cut out a window after duplicating and making a card so that the digi stamp colored once again with my Copics could be seen in the this machine :)
